—Creative DirectioncopSummer '14 for Мишка was filled with loud irreverent prints and patterns.
Weed leafs were abundant, faux snakeskin showed up a couple times, and there were some prints, that evoked grandpa's on permanent vacation in South Florida.
To speak to these (mostly young) customers, I envisioned images that took heavy influence from the world of Net Art (or Vaporwave for the initiated); a very popular style on Tumblr. I incorporated the visual language of the style (forced vertical symmetry, repeated characters, appropriated imagery, obvious collage) and applied them to the collection, playing up the whimsical and psychedelic aspects of the style.
